So, after I had carved the owl for my friend, she was so pleased she wanted me to design and carve a pig as a present (© Hatch, Burn, Carve/Martin Wilson).
If you would like me to design and carve an animal for you (or you can supply your own design), then please message me here, or email email@example.com
“Could you design and carve an owl wall plaque for me?”
Sure- and here it is (©Hatch, Burn, Carve/Martin Wilson);
Terrible pun- sorry 😉
Here’s an AC/DC cheeseboard I made as a request for an engagement present.
If you would like a metal/rock/band cheeseboard or plaque or anything really, just message me here or email firstname.lastname@example.org
After carving the Uffington horse for a stable sign for my sister’s horse, I wanted to do more in the way of chalk hill figures.
I was given this very large (and consequently heavy!) Cornish roof slate, so it was the ideal media to carve a representation of the Long Man of Wilmington.
This is still for sale/ 60cm x 40 cm. Send me a message here, visit my Folksy Shop or email email@example.com
Here’s the slate after carving and the beginning of the slow job of hand-enamelling;
Hours of careful enamelling, and the Long Man is finished;
In the studio/workshop- a new Mani stone begins to emerge. Relief carved into a natural piece of Cornish slate.
Now SOLD, but please contact me if you would like one as I make these to order.
